Wizle's Workshop Gallery
Welcome! I have made this site to store my history of works in an way that is easy to navigate and appreciate!Pretty much all of my wood burnings use artwork from other artists.
If I made any mistakes with the crediting of artists, do tell me! I double checked, but I could still have had something slipped through.
The newer the work, the further it is down
AKA: low effort pieces of art.
This part of the site is really just for me ramble about nothing
I am Wizle.
I do woodworking and stuff. I also draw sometimes.
I started making art with wood around 2019 or so, and started drawing about 2021.
I'm currently 20, working a bland job as a cook, wishing one day to find a woodworking shop which will accept me in and teach me. I do woodworking as a hobby, but one day I hope to be good enough to sell my works.
I really like Touhou. I've been a fan since a little before the release of Touhou 15's demo(from the time of writing this, that's almost 8 years). I kind of grew up with it, it's a series I was invested in before I was even a teenager.
I'm a huge fan of the music, like pretty much any other Touhou fan... and I absolutely love the CDs ZUN has released too, those are great. I've also played some of the games.
I have an easy 1CC in 14, a pointdevice normal 1CC in 15, and a normal 1CC in 18. I may try to get better at the games this year, cuz I really want a normal 1CC in 14.
My favorite Touhou characters are:
Sagume Kishin
Raiko Horikawa
Tenshi Hinanawi
My favorite Touhou themes are:
Satori Maiden ~ 3rd Eye
Mary, the Magician
Greenwich in the Sky
I feel as if the Touhou Project series and the fandom are almost two very connected but separate things. You can see this notion in the memes about how Touhou fans haven't played the games... but honestly that doesn't really matter, because the fandom's creative drive is absolutely insane.
I love art, I love music, I love stories, I love just how creative people can be. I hope to be a part of this creative group.
I got my start in Touhou because of the music... It wasn't Bad Apple or McRoll, though I did definitely see those early on, but it was "The Drums and Bass of Flower Bless" by Ravel Nightstar that introduced me to Touhou. Thank you Ravel Nightstar, your music is amazing, and your music is the reason I'm going to be making so many Touhou wood carvings with my hands.
I have many things I'd like to learn. Aside from woodworking and drawing art, I'd also like to try my hand at metalwork, stained glass art, doll making, and cosplay to name a few of my desired creative activities. I currently can't try any of that though since I'm still in my learning phase of woodworking and drawing art, but I hope I'll get there one day.
I don't know if many people know, or care, but I also used to make music. I'm not super proud of many of my works, but there are some I still listen to for enjoyment somehow, lol.
You could create music using bandlab, but I mainly used a cracked version of FL Studios 12 if I remember correctly. I used a pretty crappy, less than $100 PC at one point, but then I switched to a laptop and kept the hard drive to my old PC. Unfortunately, my brother threw away the hard drive because he thought it was faulty.
That hard drive that my brother threw away contained the cracked copy of FL Studios and ALL of my music projects. After that I lost all drive to make music.
